This project was the result of a winter storm that dropped a rather large tree right across the homeowners pump house. The difficulty in this project was in demolishing the concrete slab with live plumbing and pressure tank still sitting on it without disconnecting anything or shutting off the water as it was supplying both the homeowner's house and the neighboring rental property. Removal of the fallen tree was a separate project all on its own before I even got the contract to rebuild the pump house.

First came gently relocating the pressure tank to the side of the slab. Fortunately it was plumbed with flexible PEX pipe so I was able to move it. Then I had to demo the old slab, form up the new slab and pour concrete. Once concrete was poured I had to place the pressure tank back on the new slab and then build the pump house around it.
